In this episode Dr. Ashley Solomon discusses the difference between imposter syndrome and imposter phenomenon and how it has impacted people in our country, especially women.  We discuss the impact of cultural burdens and legacy burdens in regards to feeling as though we don't belong, particularly within business culture.  Dr. Solomon discusses ways in which she invites her clients to bring awareness to these burdened beliefs and how to help live a life of authenticity.

Dr. Christine Kiesinger has a doctorate in communication studies with an expertise in relationship studies. She spent 30 years as a university professor and now devotes her time to coaching executive leaders as well as individuals struggling with personal matters. She is a published author, guest blogger, and retreat leader.  She also is a Level 1 trained IFS coach practitioner.

In this episode, Natalie is joined by Robert Falconer.  Bob is an IFS practitioner, teacher, and writer.  For the major part of his career he worked with trauma survivors, now focusing on the study and treatment of the others within us, also known as unattached burdens, or UB's for short. We discuss his ten years of work going into his new book, The Others Within Us: Internal Family Systems, Porous Mind, and Spirit Possession. 
 
In this episode Bob talks about the history of unattached burdens within his career, case studies that impacted his understanding about UB's, the controversy surrounding UB's, and the seven steps he writes about in his new book The Others Within Us in which he talks about how to address UB's within someone's system.

In this episode, Natalie interviews Carrie Riley.  Carrie holds many certifications and trainings, including thirty years of self-teaching and exploration.  She specializes in Ashtanga Yoga, maternal child health and kinesiology, the Grief Recovery Method, and is currently working towards her masters in social work with the end goal of working in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.  Carrie shares her personal story of loss that led her to specializing in grief recovery.  Carrie and Natalie talk about what is grief, the various types of loss people can experience in their life that can lead to grief, ways people can support those that are grieving, and The Grief Recovery Method.  This is a beautiful episode filled with personal stories and helpful information for anyone who has every experienced a loss of any kind.  "Loss is loss is loss, there is no comparison, grief is grief" - Carrie Riley.
